Tips & Servicing FAQs:
Beware of Scams: The coronavirus (COVID-19) has provided fuel for cyber criminals to prey upon the public’s concern about this global crisis. Recent scams are designed to trick people into sending money, to disclose personal information or to click on emails and websites that deliver computer malware onto your computer or network.
Q: Who qualifies for assistance?
A: Anyone who is currently experiencing a financial hardship due to the impact of COVID-19 is able to apply for assistance. This assistance is possibly available for those who have lost work, can’t work due to caring for a sick family member or personally ill from COVID-19.
Q: What Options Are Available to Assist Me With My Payment?
A: One option is called a forbearance. A forbearance is short term payment relief for customers who are willing to make their monthly payments, but face temporary, unforeseen financial hardships. If you are unable to repay the payments that are due at the end of the forbearance period, other options such as a forbearance extension, repayment plan, deferment of forborne payments or loan modification may be available to you. Please call you servicer for more information.
